For the second time in two years, Peabody firefighters battled a large mulch fire

A second fire has broken out at a Massachusetts wood recycling business. The facility, which experienced a massive fire in 2010, once again ignited on Monday afternoon. Firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control, preventing a repeat of the previous disaster. The 2010 fire revealed significant safety concerns about the storage of highly flammable mulch on the site. It remains unclear if the company has addressed these issues.
